Why I Started Schoolfundr

When I reflect on my own educational and athletic journey, I can't help but feel grateful for the teachers, coaches, and mentors who believed in me and supported my growth. These individuals played an integral role in shaping my future and inspiring me to chase my dreams.

As I embarked on my professional journey, I knew I wanted to give back and empower students to reach their full potential, just as I had been encouraged to do.

The idea for Schoolfundr was born from witnessing firsthand the challenges faced by educators in securing the resources necessary to create enriching learning experiences for their students. Time and time again, I saw passionate teachers, coaches, and parents struggling to raise funds to provide students with the tools and opportunities they needed. I couldn't help but think there had to be a better way.

That's when I decided to create Schoolfundr—a free, simple, and user-friendly platform built specifically for educators, coaches and parents, with the mission of making fundraising seamless and stress-free.
