Schoolfundr Named Official Fundraising Partner of Cabarrus County Schools Athletics
CONCORD, NC — Cabarrus County Schools, serving 44 schools and nearly 35,000 students, is thrilled to announce Schoolfundr as the official fundraising partner for its athletic programs. During the pilot program, Cabarrus County Athletics raised over $165,000, showcasing the effectiveness and simplicity of the platform and led to this official designation.
Schoolfundr provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use platform that empowers schools to run successful fundraising campaigns. The system's built-in tools simplify the process of raising money, allowing schools to focus more on engaging their communities and less on managing the logistics. With all funds raised, minus standard credit card fees, directly benefiting the school, Schoolfundr ensures maximum financial impact on students throughout the county.
"With Schoolfundr, we’re able to maximize our fundraising efforts,” said Greg Little, Athletic Director at Concord High School. “The platform's simplicity has made it easier for coaches and students to engage in fundraising, while the nearly 97% return on funds directly benefits our athletic programs. It’s been a game-changer for our fundraising."
The county will also leverage Schoolfundr+, an additional oversight component. Built for Athletic Directors, finance professionals, and district leaders, Schoolfundr+ offers real-time tracking, making it easy for administrators to see how each campaign is performing, which teams are involved, and how much they raised, all from one centralized dashboard.
Bryan Tyson, District Athletic Director at Cabarrus County Schools, shared, “With Schoolfundr+, I have complete visibility at the touch of a button - monitoring fundraising efforts, participation, and progress across schools, which is super important for administrators like myself. The transparency and ease of use make it an invaluable tool for fundraising success.”
Schoolfundr continues to deepen its partnership with Cabarrus County Schools, empowering athletic programs to raise more funds while keeping a higher percentage of what they raise. Both the district and athletic programs look forward to continuing their success and helping more schools benefit from Schoolfundr's platform.
